fractions of shape and mixed number fractions.

Fraction and decimal fraction equivalence.


Shape and Space and Measures

Time - use am and pm and telling the time to the nearest minute.

Understanding the Arts

Art and D.T.

Tudor portraits in the style of Hans Holbein.


Elizabethan songs.

Creating simple melodies using percussion instruments.

Understanding Physical 
Development, Health and Well Being

Net and Wall games, such as short tennis and badminton. Dance (traditional dances) and Gymnastics.


PE will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays.   Please make sure your child has a PE kit in school at all times, (PE days may change) including plimsolls for indoors and trainers for outdoor lessons.

Our Spelling Rules this term are: To understand the use of the apostrophe in contracted forms of words.


Further work on Telling the Time, Times of the day and activities during the day. 

We will also play number games which help the children learn numbers to 60 as well as continuing our question and answer sessions to consolidate the work covered previously.
