Kindness

Linked to our value of the term are our weekly values, collective worship, big questions, learning detective challenges, class challenges and inspirational quotes. See below for weekly information on what pupils and staff are focusing on when exploring our value of Kindness.

Learning Detectives

Week 1

This week we will be voting for our new Learning Detectives, taking a group photo and discussing role.

Week 2

LDs will be on corridor duty to check that children are behaving in the corridors at lunchtimes.

Week 3

Helping with the kindness display in the main hall.

Week 4

LDs will be on corridor duty to check that children are behaving in the corridors at lunchtimes.

Week 5

LDs will remind classes about their lesson visit term’s challenge and evaluate how well they are doing. How do they know?

Week 6

Learning Detectives will make and distribute the end of term Challenge certificates.

Kindness

Our weekly look at kindness will explore behaviour and manners at lunchtime, kindness towards teachers, kind words and actions and we will reflect the spirit of kindness in our Sport Relief and Easter celebrations.

Collective Worship

Week 1

We will discuss treating others as you would like to be treated; acts of kindness and passing on a chain of kind acts.

Week 2

This week we will discuss acts of kindness and how Jesus healed people to honour God rather than to praise himself and the importance of being kind and helpful at lunchtimes.

Week 1

We have all been kind to each other this week and completed acts of kindness.
