Learning Detectives

Week 1

This week we will be voting for our new Learning Detectives, taking a group photo and embarking on a secret mission!

Week 2

LDs will be making sure that their classes know what their focus is and why.

Week 4

Learning Detective to make sure everyone completes the Growth Mindset Quiz.

Week 5

Learning Detective this week will link up with the school's Friendship Champions to work together on peaceful problem solving.

Week 6

LDs will oversee the production and issuing of certificates for end of term challenges.

Weekly values

Our weekly values of determination will include discussing good behaviour and the it's importance for independence; how independence is linked to a growth mindset; how to solve playground problems and boost independence; how independence helps in the classroom.

Collective Worship

Week 1

Discuss the meaning of the value. Link to expectations and The Ten Commandments. Discuss expectations for corridor and cloakroom behaviour. Problem solving around the school.

Week 1

We all understand how to behave at lunchtimes and have tried hard to follow the rules.

Week 2

We all know what our lesson visit challenge is and what we need to do to achieve it.

We use the working walls and displays to help us with our writing and our maths.
